About us
Advancing heat and mass transfer in the region
The Indian Society for Heat and Mass Transfer is the nodal body in India for researchers working across the thermal sciences — conduction, convection, radiation, phase change, and mass transport — spanning energy systems, aerospace propulsion, process industries and electronics cooling.
This chapter extends that work across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, connecting academic departments, national laboratories and industry through seminars, workshops, student activities and an annual regional conference.

Membership
Join the chapter
Membership is open to anyone working in heat and mass transfer or allied areas in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Applications are reviewed by the executive committee, and the fee falls due only once your application is approved.
ISHMT-RCH Student Member
No voteChapter membership for students, valid three years.
Who can apply
Open to residents of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh. B.Tech third year and above, with a valid institute ID card.

- Eligible for the chapter’s best thesis awards.
ISHMT-RCH Faculty and R&D Member
No voteChapter membership for faculty, scientists and engineers, valid three years.
Who can apply
Open to residents of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh. B.Tech completed and/or two years of engineering industry experience, as applicable. A letter from HR is required as evidence of experience.
